Do You Need an App to Rent a Power Bank in Barcelona? Not Any More.

No. Renting a Fully power bank takes nothing but the camera already on your phone. Point it at the QR code on any Fully station in Barcelona or Palma de Mallorca and the rental page opens by itself. If you would rather start from your screen, go to app.fullygo.com.

What changed

Fully used to have an app you installed from the App Store or Google Play. We retired it and rebuilt Fully to run entirely in your phone browser. Same stations, same power banks, nothing to install.

Why we moved it into the browser

An install is a wall between a person and a charge. You are standing in a bar at 5% battery, and the old flow asked you to find a store listing, download 100 MB, wait, open it and make an account, often on hotel WiFi or roaming data. Most people put the phone back in their pocket instead.

So we took the download out. Every step you remove before a guest gets power is a guest who actually gets power.

How to rent, start to finish

1. Point your camera at the station

Every Fully station shows its QR code on the screen. Open your normal camera app and point it at the code. No special scanner, no app.

2. The rental page opens by itself

Tap the link your camera shows. The page opens in your browser at app.fullygo.com, already on the station you scanned: you see the venue, how many power banks are ready and what it costs there.

Scan, tap, and you are on the station's own page. About 30 seconds from here.

3. Sign in once

Continue with Apple, Google, email or your phone number. It takes a few seconds and works with international cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

4. Charge on the go, return it anywhere

The power bank has built-in cables for iPhone, Android and AirPods, so you do not need your own. When you are done, slide it into a free slot at any Fully station in the network, not only the one you took it from. The rental ends on its own.

If you already installed the old app

Delete it. It no longer works with most stations. Open app.fullygo.com instead, or just scan a station with your camera.
